Discover The Old Forge
ABOUT
This is a new venture and the conversion has recently finished to allow us to have up to four people stay in this unique detached property. As the name implies, the Forge was indeed just that and if you look through the photos you will see an image of two horses being shod there back in the 1900's.
The building is comprised of a mixture of Blue Lias Stone (a local stone to Somerset) and rendering.
ESSENTIALS
In keeping with the theme of metal work we have done our best to use a mixture of greys and stainless steel for the decor. The Forge has its own hot water system & heating plus a wonderful wood stove for those cold winter nights. It has all the essentials to make your stay extremely comfortable. There is a television and in the kitchen there is a combination microwave, Ninja Air Fryer, induction hob & fridge freezer. We also have full fibre here so the wifi is very fast.

With the vaulted ceilings the building is very spacious and is an ideal place to relax. It is cool in the hot Summer days but warm & cosy in the Winter. The Forge is situated on a quiet lane & surrounded by countryside. There are beautiful walks right from the front door.
We also have parking for one car directly outside the front door which really helps with the luggage!
We are open throughout the year. Rates are based on the length of stay with good discounts for the longer rental. Please feel free to call should you require anymore information.
